This study provides a review of resources from the areas of urban planning and management where artificial intelligence can be utilized to support smart and sustainable development in cities. The results emphasize that expanding the research areas of artificial intelligence in urban planning paves the way for greater acceptance and broader use of this technology by urban managers. It is important to note that the collection of fundamental and reliable data is a crucial element for the effective use of artificial intelligence in urban planning and management.
