Globalization has led to the role of cities in the transnational arena as new actors influencing international politics more than any other period in the history of human civilization. In such an atmosphere, city diplomacy as a tool to shape the global opportunities of cities is always emphasized by city managers in the transnational space. The current research aims to investigate the role of international organizations in urban management in housing by using descriptive-analytical methods and relying on global studies, especially Habitat documents. The research findings show that housing is one of the basic challenges of city managers in the 21st century, and cities can use the successful experiences of member cities of this organization in the framework of city diplomacy in their transnational relations with international organizations such as Habitat. The achievements of international organizations in urban management, especially Habitat in Housing, communication with this organization through city diplomacy, and using the organization's and its member's experiences are so important. In this context, attendance at the organization's conferences, multilateral meetings with mayors participating in its meetings, and finally bilateral communication to transfer successful experiences have been examined.
